Enjoyed this as well. Couple of factors : I think BOTH Lacy and Starks are ready to go after this bye week. I think they will give O-Line help by keeping Richard Rodgers in to block. I look at the Teams Denver has played and barely squeezed out win vs. Teams the Pack has played....strength of schedule basically. The Pack has had a far more difficult schedule. GB 28 Den 17.

Couple questions.

#1 you mention that Lacy is fine, his weight is not an issue and its about his ankle. Well you should remember Lacy played the last month or more of his rookie season w/ a severe ankle injury. And I would say a much worse ankle injury than this one, and his production at the end of that season bordered on phenomenal. IIRC he suffered an ankle injury in yr 2 as well. Didn't damper his production much then either that I recall.

Yet he has been pretty ineffective this year? So whats the story? Seems pretty clear its shouldn't be his ankle, but his weight according to you shouldn't be either?

Lacy was 230 in college and the combine, since he's been in the NFL he's gotten Much bigger. At least 250 IMO and I would say it's affecting him now. To what degree is hard to say, but I'm not burying my head in the sand that his weight isn't an issue and quite possibly much more than his ankle, based on previous performance w/ an ankle injury.

#2 Manning has been terrible even minus the INT's this year. No running game to speak of. How do you expect that offense to score 20+ pts against the Packers D? Which by the way is the stingiest scoring D in the NFL?

His arm is gone and IF he has a perfectly clean pocket AND can step into his throw he might be able to get it 40 yds, but w/ absolutely no zip. He's a statue in the pocket w/ no arm and his accuracy is down considerably. But you seem confident that QB w/o a running game can put up more than 20 pts on the Packer D that's only giving up 17/gm?

You have your opinion and that's fine, but how bout some rational explanations to why you think this?
