Podcast: Might Poor Field Conditions Impact Cullen Jenkins?
By Brian Carriveau on Jan 21, 2011 with 4 Comments
This brief podcast is a little something extra for our Twitter followers and podcast subscibers, as this won’t be posted at the top of our home page at Cheesehead TV. I just wanted to take a brief couple moments to discuss the impact of the poor field conditions might have on defensive end Cullen Jenkins. Enjoy and thanks for listening.

Great Podcast Brian, You the man, I agree totally with you about Jenkins and this crappy field we have to play at this week. See you on Sunday
I liked it too, Brian.
Don’t Peppers, Idonije and Harris all have to play on that field? Maybe you hit that… gonna listen to the cast tomorrow.

I think you may be correct, however I also think that a greater disadvantage will be to the Bears. They need to get pressure with a 4-man rush or their whole defense is compromised. If the field conditions hinder their 4-man rush, it hurts them.
I also think our run game will benefit from this field. In the 4 games the Pack has played on 100% grass this year, they have rushed for 490 yards and a 5.1 YPC average. If that points to a trend, and not an anomaly, we could be able to run with success Sunday. If we can run successfully, we win. Hand over the Halas Hardware.
