Peter King Names Sanders \"Coach of the Week\"

Now I know I'm dreaming.

In his sprawling weekly column, CNNSI's hack eminent national NFL writer Peter King traditionally includes a "Coach of the Week" and lo and behold, look who he spotlights this week:

Coach of the Week

Bob Sanders, defensive coordinator, Green Bay. One would have to think that jobs were on the line at Lambeau Field Sunday, both on the field and on the coaching staff, with Green Bay's sub-.500 record and two straight poor defensive performances. Sanders and his staff came back strong, orchestrating a scheme to hold Chicago to three points and 234 yards.

I saw that and blinked a few times to make sure I was reading it right. I'm a little annoyed that King ignored the Packers throughout the rest of his MMQB this week, but this almost makes up for it. Almost.

I do have to say that I'm really sick of people bringing MVP-talk to Peyton Manning...he of the sulking, multi-INT day against the Packers not too long ago. Blech.

I take umbrage by you crossing out hack in reference to Peter King - he's by all means one of the most overrated scribes out there. He never brings anything new to the table, he's a cow, a moo (master of the obvious), one view of something and that's how it is. He's no Len Pasquarelli and I don't consider Pasquarelli that great either. Please just call him a hack.
