Panthers Cut Wahle

OK, for all those people who bemoaned Ted Thompson cutting Mike Wahle, the Panthers, who last off season switched to the zone-blocking system the Packers use, today cut the veteran guard. Now maybe, just maybe, the Panthers realized they paid him too much and that he wasn’t a great fit for the system? Just a guess…

To be fair, the last few years, Wahle has played really well for the Panthers and could’ve helped the Pack this year.

In more relevant news for us, The Ravens will franchise Suggs. I was hoping we could bring him in to replace Poppinga.

Players like Suggs rarely reach the market these days. I thought the only player worth signing in FA last year was Adalius Thomas, and it seems the Ravens have decided not to let another LB test the market…

As for Whale, yes, he played well his first year, stating 16 games and making the Pro Bowl, but after the switch to a new system this season, he, and the Panthers running game in general, was pedestrian.

thats funny. Quit hatin on Wahle. He doesn’t deserve it. I’m sorry but it’s worth lots of money to not have Daryn Colledge… please… I mean seriously?

That is really funny. Me like.

I sort of like Daryn Colledge because he went to BSU and I am from Boise – but – he isn’t. I really like Korey Hall because my high school used to play his in sports! So he is FROM Idaho (But I am…oh…18 years older than he is). Maybe I know his aunt.
