PackersHallofFame.com Dissolves, Content Moves to Packers.com

After attempts in recent years to put their content behind a paywall, PackersHallofFame.com is being folded into the team's official website at Packers.com.

The Packers Hall of Fame operates independently of the Packers organization and will continue to do so.

An email was recently sent to readers from Packers Hall of Fame board of directors president Perry Kidder outlining the online changes:

Our online activities will be migrating over the next couple of days to the Packers online platform.

As a result, our email newsletters ("This Day In Packers History" and "The Quotes of Vince Lombardi") will stop being sent and typing in our URL (www.PackersHallofFame.com) will take you to an under-construction section of the Packers website at:

http://www.packers.com/lambeau-field/hall-of-fame/visit.html

Over time, we and the Packers have some big plans for this new area of the Packers online platform to commemorate the history and tradition of Packers football.....the greatest story in sports.

Also, as a result of this change, all the individual Hall of Famer websites will be moved from:

firstnamelastname.packershalloffame.com
to
firstnamelastname.phofamer.com

For example: http://vincelombardi.phofamer.com

This online migration in no way affects the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame's independent status. As we've always done, the
Hall of Fame Board of Directors will continue to work with the Packers administration and their Board to carry forward our commitment to Packers football history.
