Packers Workout Massive Kansas State Basketball Player
Green Bay Packers scouts worked out 6-foot-7, 265-pound basketball forward Thomas Gipson as a tight end.
According to the K-State University website, in a private workout at the Kansas State facilities, a Green Bay scout took a look at Thomas Gipson a 6-foot-7, 265-pound basketball forward who has refused to play football his entire life.
When the Packers called about playing tight end, he apparently changed his mind.
Gipson posted video of his workout on Twitter.

If he hears back from the Packers, he says he'll put basketball on hold for this first time in his life.

Soft hands, terrible feet. Good news is, the latter is easier to teach.

If they do sign him, all he has to do to be productive is get the jump ball in the end zone.

My grandma could keep up with him, or was it in slow slow motion. Good hands though, worth a shot as a walk on.

Project. I gather he has never blocked a football player in his life. Hips, feet, slows into his "break" if one can call it that. Nice hands in this small sample. Project.
