Packers vs. Bears Game Predictions from CheeseheadTV.com

 GAME PREDICTIONS Week 12

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears

Name Record   Pick Prediction
Nagler 6-4 Green Bay Packers 31-13
The Packers will move the ball early but the points won't come until later. I don't doubt the Bears make a game of it early on. They played the Packers tough in Week 1 and are much improved since then. But this game will be about feeding Eddie Lacy against a bad Bears run defense and Packers taking advantage off play action.
Czech 7-3 Green Bay Packers 33-27
Packers get a win the old fashioned way: March up and down the field on offense, do just enough on defense, then force a big Cutler interception late.
Bracco 7-3 Green Bay Packers 30-24
The Packers are so banged up, if this was not the Thanksgiving/Favre/Starr game, I think the Bears could have pulled an upset here, especially with Forte returning. But there is no way I pick against them. The emotion of the evening will carry them to a thrilling win that will not be short on drama.
Tallitsch 7-3 abstain xx-xx
After abstaining last week turned things around for the Packers, Alex vows to continue abstaining (and taking an automatic L) until the Packers lose. What a team player - there's no "I" in Alex.
Garda 6-4 Green Bay Packers 28-14
I thought I fulfilled my promise to pick against the Packers so they would win worked out with the Vikings, but at least I felt like you could have a logical reason for it. I really can't with the Bears this week, especially in Lambeau. This offense still has issues, most notably Randall Cobb's drops, but it looked so much better last week and the Bears defense makes the Vikings defense look like the Purple People Eaters even if they have been better of late. Aaron Rodgers should move the ball OK and the offense should be able to score early and often. I really liked what I saw from Dom Caper's defense last  week and I have to admit I never expected to type that this season. Kidding aside, you may not see Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett is out and Matt Forte is banged up. Jeremy Langford is a problem, but the Packers were able to solve an even bigger problem in the form of Adrian Peterson, so he shouldn't be a big one. It's hard to see a Chicago win here so hopefully choosing the Packers doesn't jinx them.
Behnke 7-3 Green Bay Packers 60-0
Packers roll.
Jennerjohn 7-3 Green Bay Packers 34-20

Chicago's offense, even though Jay Cutler has looked pretty good as of late, will not be able to keep up with Green Bay's rejuvenated offense. And the Lambeau Field electricity from having three of the best players in franchise history in the same building at the same time will make this a rout.
Perone 7-3 Green Bay Packers 27-17
No way the Packers allow a letdown in this game.  Thanksgiving night, Bart Starr and Aaron Rodgers on hand to honor Brett Favre and rain in the forecast.  All signs point to a Packers victory.  A win ties the Packers with the Bears in the all-time series.  The weather keeps this from being a high-scoring affair but the Packers put up some points early on behind another good game by Eddie Lacy.  Packers defense keeps the Bears out of the end zone, despite a late touchdown that makes the score look closer than it is.
Snowden 7-3 Green Bay Packers 31-16
Bart Starr healthy enough to attend, Brett Favre's ceremony, thanksgiving, Lambeau night game, chance to tie the all time series vs the Bears = Packers win.
Albrecht 6-4 Green Bay Packers 27-20

The first place Packers still have issues particularly on offense but the Bears cannot match the Packers talent. The team will be jacked-up and focused to play well in front of a national TV audience. Combine Favre's retirement extravaganza, what might be Bart Starr's final trip to GB and a visit by the hated Bears to make a tasty Thanksgiving recipe for a rout.
Reuter 6-4 Green Bay Packers 27-24
The Packers are going to need Cutler be the "same old Jay" more than ever this week. The Bears offense looks, dare I say it, decent. Despite winning week one, the Bears still had a pretty good day offensively and they have only gotten better. If the Packers can force some turnovers it should be an easy day. I'm not sure they can do that but I do think the rushing offense takes another step forward for the Packers and helps them eek out a 27-24 victory.
Olson 7-3 Green Bay Packers 27-17
The Bears have definitely improved since Week 1, and Jay Cutler is playing better. However, the Packers will be at home in primetime, and they should be able to build on the improvement from the win over the Vikings.
Hobbes 7-3 Green Bay Packers 50-0
The historical significance of this game is more than just Packers-Bears. If there was any game that the Packers HAD to win, it's this one. Packers roll
Strupp 5-5 Green Bay Packers 27-10
I'm not sure what to make of the offense anymore. But this certainly feels like a special game & a special win.
Kruse 7-3 Green Bay Packers 38-17
You know Aaron Rodgers will want to play perfect with Brett Favre and Bart Starr in attendance. He will. I say four touchdown passes on No. 4's big night. Happy Thanksgiving.

Big night for all 3 great HOF Packer QBs. I'm taking the Pack 37 -14.
I'm actually hoping for even more of a rout so that the Packers can let Bart Starr close out the game.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody and Go Pack Go! Thanks, Since '61

I grew up watching Starr in the 60s. Although we had moved to NC, our son grew up watching Favre. Now we live in TN and our grandson is growing up with Rodgers. We love our Pack! GO PACK GO!!!!!!

I can see a pick 6 by someone, but certainly not Peppers. Probably a little too much of a blowout. I would guess 31-14.

Pack 31
Bares 20

Jay moves the ball but throws a couple picks in classic Jay fashion. GB ties the series with the best three QBs in franchise history in attendance.

I'm predicting another cuntler meltdown to continue his legacy as one of the packers best contributors as a QB. Who cares what the score is. It will be fire Dom capers or he is a genious. The crowd will make the bears use the silent count all game and its up to him.

I wish there was some way to measure what contributions a player has to an opposing team; you got to think Jay Cutler gets xmas present from the Packers every year the way he plays.

We need to start a website to fund his contract with the bears.

I think this is the 40 point breakout we have all been waiting for. Janis will be used to stretch the field giving jones, Cobb, and whoever is in at TE room to work. That intermediate passing game will open big gaps for a rested Starks to gash the bears D. On our defensive side expect to see heavy pressure on cutler all game. Forte will still get his yards but it will all be for naught as the Bears fall further and further behind on the scoreboard. A three sack, three interception night is not out of the question. Final score 42-24 packers on a night full of emotion and thanks!

Bears banged up as well, Bennett ruled out , Forte and Jeffries hurting might not be that effective , I don't expect a high scoring game but Pack by at least 2 scores.

Saw all the Packer victories back in the 1960's. After the 1967 game against the Raiders in the second Super Bowl I got shipped overseas courtesy of the US Army so just got in under the wire. Those were great teams. Today they are legendary. Back then we feared the Lions not the Bears.

Anyway, no team can have a greater ambassador than Bart Starr. A true gentleman and the man who carried out Vince Lombardi's' game plan year after year. To see the three of them together is a lifetime experience for me. We are so lucky to have had and now have such great QB's. Since 1991 we have had two QB's. That is insane. We are truly blessed in Green Bay.

Happy Thanksgiving Packers fans! TGR, Bearmeat, Nick, Zeke, MarkInMadison, RC, Evan - Aaron, Jersey Al, and the entire CHTV crew-I hope you a wonderful day. I'm thankful for:

All 3 children being home;
Having a warm place to live in and food to eat;
Not having a drink for 10+ years;
Choosing to be a Packers fan when I was 7 after watching the Ice Bowl. Painted my electric football guys green (thankfully green is in the name, our TV was black and white);
Bart Starr, AR, and Brett,
Every second I've been lucky enough to watch the Packers, win or lose; and
CHTV for providing this outstanding forum.

Think any talk of the best QBs in Packer history has to include all four in attendance tonight. Cutler is among the best for us as well.

I bet the response to Starr is deafening. I can't wait to see this great man. Was very young during SB1&2, but had his uniform on in backyard games. I also remember getting a "fresh start with Bart". Favre will be great to see get some closure. Huge night for the Packer faithful. 37-13 Pack.

I done watching this team for the year. Inexcusable . Rodgers looks like Cutler on the sidelines. To lay an egg like this against 2 shit teams at home. They are plain ugly, the whole dam team.
