Packers vs. 49ers Game Predictions from CheeseheadTV.com

Predictions for the 49ers game from the CHTV staff.

GAME PREDICTIONS Week 4: Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers
Name Record To-Date This Week's Pick Score Prediction
Aaron Nagler 3-0 Green Bay Packers 31-17
If Capers can't control Colin Kaepernick this week, he never will.

Adam Czech 3-0 Green Bay Packers 33-22
Kaepernick will run around a bunch because that's just what Kaepernick does when he plays the Packers. But this 49ers team lacks the talent to punch the ball over the goal line consistently. The Packers eventually pull away in the fourth quarter.

Jersey Al Bracco 3-0 Green Bay Packers 35-22
Everything points to a blowout for the Packers, but I'm feeling a comfy but not automatic win. The 49ers return home after two road blowouts and will keep things semi-respectable. Same script as last week, Packers take an early lead then give up some late scores. Never in question, though.

Alex Tallitsch  3-0 Green Bay Packers 36-10
Much like the Cowboys game in 1997, the Packers finally get some redemption against the Niners. This ones a no contest from the start.

Andrew Garda 3-0 Green Bay Packers 21-17
Yes, the 49ers have had the Packers' number, but a new coaching staff has apparently removed the aspects of Colin Kaepernick which made him hard for the Packers to handle. Less option means less being beaten outside all the time. Even if they manage to give the defense trouble, I have no doubt that offensively, the Packers will run up the score against this defense anyway.

Corey Behnke 3-0 Green Bay Packers 50-0
Packers roll.

Cory Jennerjohn 3-0 Green Bay Packers 34-17
Aaron Rodgers is slicing through secondaries with ease. He is playing like someone said something mean about his family. From good to bad, Colin Kaepernick is playing confused. He doesn't see defenders and he's telegraphing passes. But the worst thing about the 49ers is a secondary that's giving up 284 yards a game

Jason Perone 3-0 Green Bay Packers 35-19
Yes it's a road game and yes it's the 49ers, who have beaten the Packers four straight times, including playoffs.  But this is the 2015 '9ers and they're struggling.  Colin Kaepernick has had his way with the Packers the last three meetings but this Packers defense is ready.  Green Bay, led by a motivated Aaron Rodgers playing near his hometown, get a big road win and entrench themselves as favorites to return to San Francisco in early February.

Jay Hodgson 3-0 Green Bay Packers 28-21
Packers win behind a defense set on revenge that finally solves the zone read.

Jayme Snowden 3-0 Green Bay Packers 38-23
Will the Packers lose? No way, no how. Packers offense will keep rolling, despite losing Quarless. Packers defense will look to prove two weeks of run containment was not a fluke..

Jeff Albrecht 3-0 Green Bay Packers 31-17
The key as it always seems to be when playing against Kaepernick will be to keep him in the pocket and make him beat you with his arm in which he is limited. Carlos Hyde is also a threat. Stop the run and they win. I am guessing they will do it this time around.

Mike Reuter 2-1 Green Bay Packers 37-17
If the Packers can get a pass rush, they should dominate. I picked against the Packers last week and was off by a mile. It'll never happen again.

Robert Olson 3-0 Green Bay Packers 34-17
The 2015 49ers are not the same team as the 2012 and 2013 teams that the Packers lost to. The Packers are the better team this time around, and the defense will do a better job of defending Colin Kaepernick.

Thomas Hobbes 3-0 Green Bay Packers 27-17
This isn't the San Francisco 49ers from even a couple years ago, they've lost a ton of talent from coaches to players and they simply won't be able to keep up to the Packers.  Even excluding their unmitigated disaster against the Cardinals, the 49ers are one of the worst teams on all aspects this season.  The Packers finally go up 2-2 for revenge games.

Wisconsin Rob (Strupp) 2-1 Green Bay Packers 31-14
Maybe the 1st half of the season is about the Packers beating the demons that have haunted them in the past. Consider this another exorcism.

Zach Kruse 3-0 Green Bay Packers 41-24
The 49ers have been gutted, especially on defense. Aaron Rodgers should torch a team that has allowed 90 points the last two weeks.

The only way the Packers lose this game is if they beat themselves. This time they not only have the better QB, they have the better team. Pack rolls 34-19. Thanks, Since '61

I never like it when the packers are picked across the board. We need an ass like dip bayless to talk us up for a loss.

The packers will win at the line of scrimmage with a few plays by the secondary and a few plays by #12.

Based on his ridiculous pick last week, I thought that was Wisconsin Rob's job. Looks like he's back on the bandwagon.

I've read enough predictions that went something like this; "struggling player x has been thwarted and at all time low production coming into this game......"
Then after the game, something like this'
"player x has hit all time high and now seems to be on track".

Yeah, I remember a lot of struggling players get on track when they face packers. Kapernick, Wilson, megatron, Peterson, and teams like KC finally break their troubling stats such as no WR TDs in last 1.2 years. Do you know why I seem to get no comfort out of the rationale you guys all use above that 49ers are in a funk and Kapernick is about busted? Hate to admit, but watch him have a huge game or something.

Packers are going to show the 9ers although bruised its not going to happen this season. Packers are still threats all around,Lacey,Jones,Cobb,Adams and all of the big boys up front making it happen for one of the greatest qb to do what he does!!! CHFL

I say 45-21. Aaron another 5 TD passes and we will see Scott Tolzien at the end... Still, only if Packers will not underestimate SF...

I would love to watch and see that. 45-10 would be even better.

The logical step for San Francisco is to go back to what worked before, namely, the read-option. Mathews will deter Kapernick to less than 70 yards. If the Niners are playing from behind, it's Kap in the air with his tendency for errant passes. The D line will limit Hyde to under 60 yards, hopefully.
Packers 27, SF 20.

Always dangerous to predict low yards. Opposing players usually seem to pad their stats during extended garbage time and Capers' prevent defense.

49rs will likely rebound against us, but we will still beat them down which will make this win all the more sweeter. D steps up again, AR will be great as usual. 4-0. Go PACK Go
