Packers to Display Pink Elements on Sunday for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As part of the NFL's annual recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Green Bay Packers will have several pink elements on display during Sunday's home game on Oct. 6 against the Detroit Lions.

In addition to wearing several pink elements such as shoes, gloves, wristbands, helmet decals and towels, pink decorations will be on display all over Lambeau Field.

Pink elements fans will notice include pink ribbon stencils on the field, pink wall banners, pink goal post padding, special game balls with pink ribbon decals, a pink coin used for the coin toss and sideline caps with pink ribbons for coaches and team personnel.

All apparel worn at games by players and coaches, along with special game balls and pink coins, will be auctioned off at NFL Auction (www.NFL.com/auction), with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society and team charities.

Everyone wants to save boobies!

Many other good causes out there too! Just saying. The only reason the NFL does this is to expand viewers, less about boobies.
