NFL SCOUTING REPORT:

Raw receiving prospect with just two years of major college experience under his belt. DuBose possesses NFL size with an expansive catch radius. He’s talented at winning fade routes and jump balls, but he struggles to win in the early stages of the route against press and tight man coverage. DuBose is still in the learning stages but already displays some route talent. A lack of separation quickness could make his battle for a roster spot more challenging.

FIT WITH THE PACKERS:

DuBose projects as a moveable chess piece in the passing game. He can line up at all three positions but I probably like him most as a "Z" with slot appeal. He's

COMMENTARY:

I love the pick, didn't think he'd last this long, but this is a guy who could be a major player for the Packers if he continues his development.

The Draft Network loved this guy! He was #88 on their prospect board with this:

"I initially fell in love with DuBose’s ability to separate on in-breaking routes, whether it was his bread and butter slant route, digs, post digs, you name it, DuBose can run it to a T. Later seeing DuBose stretch the field, I started to see what makes him so difficult to guard. He has an innate understanding of knowing how to position himself to make a play on the ball. On back-shoulder throws, DuBose is able not only to flip his hips to attack the ball but with his length and catch radius he turns the seemingly impossible plays into routine catches. On comebacks and turn-ins, he relentlessly attacks the ball no matter where it is placed. This uncommon desire to catch the football against all odds prevailed as DuBose time and time again was able to bail out poor throws and move the sticks for his 49er offense. He’s not going to be the guy who whips you over the top time and time again, but he has serviceable next-level speed that will require serious respect in all levels of the field and makes him dangerous with the ball in his hands.

Ideal Role: Starting X receiver

Scheme Fit: West coast

Prospect Comparison: George Pickens (2022 NFL Draft)"

Always hard to tell on video. I like this guy. Looks like a bigger bodied receiver who is serious red zone threat. I can’t wait to see him in camp against higher level talent. Should be very interesting.

Very physical and tough competitor who blocks well for a WR and it seems to reflect his give it everything attitude. If his athleticism stands up in play on the field, a back up at both X and in the Lazard role. He’s the kind of personality it’s hard to keep down. May need a little time to adjust to the NFL.
