Commentary:

The Packers had him in for a visit. He was a tackle in college, but is listed as a guard/center prospect.

From JordanPlocher, Pro Football Focus:  Kofi Amichia excelled at pass protection in 2016 and only allowed two sacks, one QB hit, and six hurries on his 403 pass-blocking snaps. Amichia’s pass-blocking efficiency rating of 98.2 ranks fifth in the draft class. — Jordan Plocher, @PFF_Jordan

Was brought in for a pre-draft visit by the Packers. Of course, he was a left tackle in college who is looked at as more of a guard/center prospect. Versatility is a key factor here. Will probably be going after Don Barclay's job.

Here is an entire article about Amichia - a good read. He says his quickness and athleticism are his best traits on the field.

6'4", 304lb, 32 reps on the bench press and ran a sub 5.00 40 time at his pro day. Probably a guard for the Packers.

Those are pretty decent stats for an O lineman.

Lists as a G/C on some sites and as a C at nfl.com (which has no grade or report on him at all). But is strong, has good quickness and footspeed for an OL. If he projects as a G/C, could be "Sayonara, Mr. Barclay".

That would be music to my ears!!! Big, strong, quick, and agile and no Barclay!!! My favorite pick today. Run game could be great this year with all the additions.

The Vikings also got Hodges. Christ I can't believe Thompson picked both Jones and Yancy when he could have had Bucky Hodges.

Perspective, guys.

For every Terell Davis and Antonio Brown, there are literally hundreds and hundreds of guys who never see their 3rd year.

Let's not let the fact that your personal late round draft crush didn't get drafted by our GM put a fly in the ointment of the best offseason TT has had since 2009. This draft looks really really solid, AND he participated (somewhat) in FA.

Everyone repeat after me...

The draft grade given to the 2017 class is 'I' for Incomplete until after the 2019 season.

The Vikings did some work this year, without having a 1st rd pick - Cook, Eflein, & Jaleel is a really nice trio of guys. Their late round picks are good value as well. Thankfully they still have Bradford, and we have Rodgers.

I don't know what you're talking about, I mean Bradford was the #1 overall pick in the draft and Rodgers was like #24. Therefore Bradford >> Rodgers right?

There is staying true to the board but 3 running backs? I guess it is bulking up the special teams. Whether it is running backs or project linebackers or tightends - as long as they get the job done who cares. Be worried if I was Jackson or Michael though.
