Packers' Rookie Cap Allotments Set
The new Collective Bargaining Agreement pretty much assuers that holdouts are a thing of the past.

Tom Silverstein has a perfect breakdown of the rookie salary cap allotment along with allotments for each slot of the Packers' draft picks.
The Packers' minimum cap figure is $5,024,703
The Packers' cap allotments for the slots in which their draft picks were taken are as follows:
- 1st, CB Damarius Randall - $1,439,223
- 2nd, CB Quentin Rollins - $680,466
- 3rd, WR Ty Montgomery, $586,636
- 4th, LB Jake Ryan, $549,169
- 5th, QB Brett Hundley, $490,908
- 6th, FB Aaron Ripkowski, $461,599
- 6th, DT Christian Ringo, $457,621
- 6th, TE Kennard Backman, $457,621
I complain about the new Collective Bargaining Agreement a bunch, but this is one of the better developments to come out of it. Teams and agents can tinker with how some payments are structured, but for the most part the parameters for every deal are pretty much in place. Holdouts are a thing of the past. In fact, the Bears have half their draft class signed and expect to get the rest done today. Pretty incredible compared to the nonsense we used to watch unfold every summer back in the day.

Wow, Mr. Nagler. You're working pretty hard lately. You've been pretty prolific since Brian left. Thanks for your efforts.
