Packers Reportedly Releasing Luther Robinson
The former undrafted free agent ended 2014 on injured reserve with a calf injury.

From Bill Huber:
Told the #Packers are going to release Luther Robinson today. Was good story as tryout guy who contributed last year.

Robinson began the 2014 season on the Packers' practice squad after being brought in on a try-out basis last summer after going undrafted out of Miami. While he never played significant snaps prior to going on injured reserve with a calf injury, he did flash a few times when given a chance to play.
Of course, there were also plenty of times when he looked completely overwhelmed.
Still, it is a bit surprising to see the Packers getting rid of any big body along the defensive line at this point. I suspect we'll see a Failed Physical designation when the move appears on the league's transaction wire.

Luther can play. Probably another mistake in letting him go. I hope the Vikings pick him up.
Vikings will have a top 3 defense in the next 2 years.

I don't really get why they did this.
He seemed pretty decent in the Vikings game, but I dunno.
Maybe the coaches saw something differently.

You do not cut talented players this early without a good reason. Talented players sometimes do get cut because of tough roster decisions but that occurs in August, not May when the roster limit is 90.
So... 1. Fans think he has way more talent then TT does. 2. There is another good reason they cut him that fans do not know. (Injury, personality, etc..)
My guess is #1. If #2, we'll know soon enough.

Robinson cleared waivers. It appears 31 other GMs didn't see a bunch of talent either.
