Packers Release Campbell From Practice Squad
With an abundance of offensive linemen, the Packers let go of Chris Campbell to make room for another player to be announced.
According to Adam Caplan of Fox Sports and Sirius NFL Radio on Twitter:
Packers released OT Chris Campbell from their practice squad, source said.
With 10 offensive linemen on the 53-man roster and Breno Giacomini on the practice squad, the Packers had a luxury of offensive linemen.
With less depth on the defensive front seven, it's possible the Packers will be looking to add either a defensive lineman or linebacker to their practice squad.
As the Packers resume practice today in preparation of their football game against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, there's a possibility we'll learn of Campbell's replacement on the practice squad in the next couple of hours.
