Packers Practice Report: Sitton, Lang Still Not Back

Neither of the Packers' starting guards practiced on Thursday in Green Bay.

After being listed as "did not participate" at practice on Wednesday, neither Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton nor T.J. Lang could return on Thursday, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, who was present inside the Don Hutson Center:

Sitton has a torn ligament in his big toe while Lang is nursing an injured ankle. The pair appear to be rehabbing on stationary bicycles at practice.

The concern, meanwhile, continues to grow about the depth on the Packers offensive line.

Without their usual starters, the Packers may have to rely upon some inexperienced combination of J.C. Tretter, Corey Linsley and Lane Taylor on the interior of the unit.

The last time the Packers faced the Bears back in September, they squared off against a defensive line that was without Jared Allen and Jeremiah Ratliff. With those players back from injuries, the Packers offensive line will have their hands full.

Thankfully for the Packers, Sitton and Lang were reportedly the only players that missed practice. There's still three more days and one more full-fledged practice before Sunday's game against the Bears, perhaps leaving hope that they'll return yet.

The Packers will release their updated injury report Thursday afternoon, followed by a press conference with head coach Mike McCarthy.

Tightwad Ted has done it gain and left the team dangerously short of O-lineman. He doesn't seem to get the fact that you have a $120 million QB carrying the team that you can't let get injured.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Both he and Mike McPorky just got multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts sooooooo.........no effin' problem!

Yes but our defense was in such a need of a pass rush we just had to do the right thing and forget about protecting the passer, lets draft the mighty Datone (always out of shape) Jones and Nick - slowest linebacker in football Perry.

Wow have those two turned things around for us.
