Packers Practice Report: Davante Adams Sits Out

The rookie wide receiver was reportedly a surprise non-partcipant at Thursday's practice.

Wide receiver Davante Adams was a surprise non-participant at Green Bay Packers practice on Thanksgiving, according to Wes Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Press-Gazette:

Adams, the team's No. 3 wide receiver, was not listed on the team's injury report on Wednesday.

More information will be provided later Thursday afternoon when the Packers release an updated injury report, followed by a press conference by head coach Mike McCarthy.

Offensive lineman T.J. Lang appears to have made progress with his sprained ankle after being listed as "did not participate" on the previous day's injury report.

For a third consecutive week, Lang looks as if he's continuing a trend of not taking part in the first practice of the week and then practicing on a limited basis the following day.

Perry (shoulder) and Bush (groin), meanwhile, have not practiced in two weeks.

UPDATE: Adams was listed as "limited" on the injury report with a heel injury. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Adams was stepped on, but he doesn't have high concern.

That could hurt. I was really hoping Perry would be available Sunday, we will need all hands on deck.

Either rely on Neal, or put Matthews back at OLB and go with three safeties. Belicheck (and everyone else on the planet) knows that Hawk is the weak spot. They'll attack him all day. The Packers must provide some help in the middle, or this day will be over quickly.

lets put a fork in that turkey Perry. Is Datone the other bust brother playing? Never ever hear his name mentioned. Lets hope neither of these bums get extended.

I do think Perry really makes a difference. Last week was sure lacking without him.

True. He sets the edge well, and he gets pressure at times. He's definitely better than Neal, but Perry's never going to be Clay Matthews.

Do not put Mathews back at OLB. He only had 14 tackles in the first 8 games at that position. Teams have figured out how to play away from Mathews at OLB. He is more effective when opponents are unable to plan where he is coming from.
