Dix played on a team with a ferocious pass rush. He didn't have to cover guys for very long. He is going to face 6'5 guys all day long, every week and they run over guys his size so I don't expect super stardom from him but I agree he was needed.
Putting faith in a guy like Peppers is silly. Whether he likes it or not, he is 34. His best years are way behind him and now the genius trust is going to make him play stand up defense and not the three position. What a joke.
You can only teach an old dog new tricks if old dog wants to learn new tricks. He gets paid no matter what.
