I think it would be hard to disagree with McCarthy’s assertion in his presser on January 13th that the Packers are not only playing their best football, but they just played their best game ever under McCarthy against the Seahawks this past Saturday. Obviously, you want to be playing your best football at this time of year. But you also have to guard against thinking you’ve arrived. I don’t think McCarthy will have that problem. All he needs to do is watch tape of players like Nick Collins and Daryn Colledge against the Seahawks and he’ll know he has lots of work yet to do.
