Packers Officially Announce Celebrations for Favre and Wolf

In a press release, the Packers organization made rumored plans to honor Ron Wolf and Brett Favre official.

On November 15, Former General Manager Ron Wolf will be honored at halftime and his name will be added to the ring of other Packers in the ProFootball Hall of Fame. On November 26, former quarterback Brett Favre will have his retired number and his name added to the north side of Lambeau Field.

“The Packers are fortunate to have had many great players and general managers in our storied history. You would be hard pressed, though, to name any that have had a bigger impact on the organization than Brett Favre and Ron Wolf. It is fitting that they will be honored in the same season, since they teamed together to return winning football to the Packers in the ’90s,” said Packers/President CEO Mark Murphy.

I think it is great and should be a fun event. Hope I can attend.

I think the hype will be big leading up to the game.
