Packers Odds of Winning the Super Bowl Get Longer Despite Winning

The odds of the Green Bay Packers winning the Super Bowl got longer in the past week despite beating the Dolphins in Miami this past Sunday, according to online oddsmaker Bovada.lv.

Heading into their Week 6 match-up, the Packers were listed as 10-1 to win the Super Bowl and are currently 11-1.

Two other NFL teams leap-frogged the Packers this past week. The San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers are both listed at 9-1 after being 12-1 and 10-1 respectively the week prior.

Only the Denver Broncos (4-1) and Seattle Seahawks (6-1) have shorter odds.

The Packers are listed at 11-2 to win the NFC Championship, behind only the Seahawks (11-4) and 49ers (9-2).

Within the NFC North division, the Packers are the odds-on favorites at 4-7, ahead of the Detroit Lions (5-2), Chicago Bears (11-2) and Minnesota Vikings (33-1).

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is at 10-1 odds to win the NFL's MVP Award, behind DeMarco Murray (7-2), Peyton Manning and Phillip Rivers (4-1) and Andrew Luck (13-2).
