Packers' Odds of Winning Super Bowl Get Longer After Losing to Saints

The odds of the Green Bay Packers winning Super Bowl XLIX got longer over the course of the past week, according to online oddsmaker Bovada.lv.

After losing to the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, the Packers' odds fell from 8-1 to 10-1.

The Packers' odds of winning the Super Bowl rank fourth in the NFL behind only the Denver Broncos (5-2), Seattle Seahawks (8-1) and New England Patriots (9-1).

Following Week 3 when the Packers had a 1-2 record, their odds of winning the Super Bowl were 22-1.

As far as winning the NFC Conference, the Packers (9-2) rank behind only the Seahawks (4-1).

Meanwhile, the Packers still remain the odds-on favorite to win the NFC North division at 5-7 odds ahead of the Detroit Lions (6-5), Chicago Bears (33-1) and Minnesota Vikings (33-1).

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers saw his odds of winning the NFL's MVP Award double, jumping from 5-1 to 10-1 in the past week.

Rodgers' odds rank tied for third in the NFL behind Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (3-2) and Dallas Cowboys running Demarco Murray (2-1) and tied with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, both 10-1.
