Packers' Odds of Winning Super Bowl Drop by More Than Half Since Week 3 Loss
After the Packers lost to the Lions, they were 22-1 to win the Super Bowl. They're now 10-1.
The odds of the Green Bay Packers winning the Super Bowl have dropped by more than half since a Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions, according to online oddsmaker Bovada.
Currently, the odds of the Packers winning the Super Bowl are 10-1 after two consecutive victories. Following Week 3 when their record was just 1-2, they were 22-1.
The only teams that have shorter odds of winning the Super Bowl are the Seattle Seahawks (4-1) and Denver Broncos (17-4).
Tied with the Packers at 10-1 are the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers.
The odds of the Packers winning the NFC conference are 11-2, behind only the Seahawks at 9-5.
Within the NFC North division, the Packers are the odds-on favorites at 2-3, ahead of the Lions (2-1), Bears (13-2) and Vikings (25-1).
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is at 10-1 to win the NFL's MVP Award.
Five players have shorter odds to win the MVP Award than Rodgers: Philip Rivers (4-1), Peyton Manning (9-2), DeMarco Murray (5-1), Andrew Luck (6-1) and Russell Wilson (8-1).
