Packers Not in Pads at Thursday Practice
#Packers were not in pads today. They had been going in pads on Thursdays. McCarthy trying to keep them as fresh as possible perhaps.

Perhaps it's not surprising that the Green Bay Packers did not practice in pads on Thursday considering the high number of injuries with which the team is dealing.
The list of players reportedly not participating in practice was the same as yesterday: linebackers Clay Matthews (thumb) and Nick Perry (foot), tight ends Jermichael Finley (neck) and Ryan Taylor (knee) and wide receiver James Jones (knee).
Of the five players not practicing, only two have already been ruled out of Sunday's upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings: Matthews and Finley.
Head coach Mike McCarthy will hold a press conference later in the afternoon to give an update on the team.
