- The Packers, the NFL and the Wisconsin National Guard have made a $2,000 donation to the Northwood/Solon Springs co-op high school football program where Brian Trettin has been been named the Packers High School Coach of the Week.
Through the first five games of the 2011 season, Trettin’s Evergreens have blazed out to a 4-1 start. Friday’s 28-7 victory over Shell Lake marks the school’s first win over the Lakers in school history. It also gave the Evergreen’s their fourth consecutive win, a feat that has not been achieved since their 1981 season.
