Packers Haven't Contacted Ross, White Yet, Reports Say

It appears the Packers are playing the waiting game. With injuries to both Randall Cobb and James Jones in the Packers victory over the Ravens on Sunday, the Packers are down to only two healthy wide receivers on their roster. However, with the severity of both injuries still unknown the Packers have yet to reach out to two potential replacements.

Unless there is some rule limiting WHAT practice squad players can work on, I would expect they are coaching him (White) up right now. Even if the MRIs contain only good news, I can't imagine Cobb or Jones going this week, and I can't imagine the Packers going into a game with only two WRs. Something will need to be done, even if it is only for a week or two.

My guess right now is they will bring up White and send Michael Hill back to the practice squad. That is assuming that neither injury will be season ending...

If its season ending injuries that will change it.

Can we really say the pack is "playing the waiting game?" Not only is it calling someone up, but it's deciding on who to cut or place on IR, which could be the tougher part of the decision. Give them a day to decide before the practice and prep even begins.

Please God no!! DD is a traitor for his comments about Aaron Rodgers. He'll NEVER be back on this team as a football player. He should have been let go two years ago. He's just too slow but yes, he can dance which his the only reason he made the team last year. It was a PR move.

Fool me once, shame on you.............

How many times has MM said two weeks and it ends up being 5. So much so that when I hear may play this weekend, I add two weeks to that automatically.

If they are saying 8 weeks for Cobb, then to me he is toast for the season.

Tyrone walker should have been on the 53 man roster from Day 1. Sheahawks have him on their PS currently. We need to get him back. Tavarres King would be awesome, but sounds like Broncs are signing him to their roster.
