Packers Hall of Fame Releases Green Bay Themed Monopoly Game

The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. made public on Thursday a Monopoly-style board game they intended to sell, appropriately named "Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. Opoly."

All proceeds will go to the Hall of Fame and Muscular Dystrophy Association.

According to a post on the Hall of Fame's website:

Prominent local businesses, such as Title Town Oil, Grand Central Station, Pomp’s Tire, Escort Limousine Service, Bayland Buildings and Doc’s Harley-Davidson, will fill the property spaces on the board game. A total of 2,500 games have been produced and will be available for purchase at Grand Central Station locations in Northeast Wisconsin.

The board game, which was produced and manufactured by All Sports Marketing USA, LLC., will feature on the cover a photo of Lambeau Field the day the Lombardi Trophy returned to Green Bay after Super Bowl XLV. The game board center will list all inductees of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. along with the Packers Hall of Fame logo.

“Among the goals of the Packers Hall of Fame Inc. is to deepen the fans’ appreciation of the history of the Packers, and this game accomplishes that,” said Tom Murphy, Packers Hall of Fame Inc. archivist and board member. “Fans can have fun and support two worthwhile charities while they learn.”
