On the Packers calendar today, the Greg Jennings Celebrity Golf Tournament pre-party takes place at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel for golfers and their guests at 8 p.m.

The acting career of Greg Jennings continues to grow. According to Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Packers wide receiver will appear on "Royal Pains" on the USA Network this season. "Jennings will play himself, although as a coach in a football-themed episode," writes Nickel. "Jennings didn't know the air date yet, but the show's website said the new season kicks off June 29." Jennings appeared on "Criminal Minds" on CBS last year. Jennings also talked about his annual charity golf tournament, which takes place on Friday, and how it benefits the Greg Jennings Foundation.

Defensive lineman Mike Neal reflected upon a rookie season lost due  to injury in an article by Kareem Copeland in the Green Bay Press-Gazette. “That was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life,” Neal said. “I’ve never missed a season due to an injury. I’ve been through a lot of tough things, but to not be able to play the game of football and feel like I’m a disappointment to not only myself but to my team is probably one of the biggest things." Neal only played in two games last season before being put on injured reserve. He said his surgically repaired shoulder is close to 100%.

Lambeau Field is currently being transformed to host a concert this Saturday including country star Kenny Chesney among others. Fans of the Packers will be glad to know they're going the extra mile to protect the playing surface. "The stage is being set up in the south end zone, with 8,700 seats on the stadium floor that will be covered by a plastic material to protect the playing field," writes Tony Walter of the Press-Gazette. "(President of PMI Entertainment, Ken) Wachter said the floor covering alone cost $120,000." The Packers will reportedly keep a share of the proceeds made from concessions at the event.

An interview with Eliot Wolf appears at the Packers official website after receiving a promotion to assistant director of player personnel this past week. “I’m realistic enough to know nepotism is the reason I got my foot in the door, but if I wasn’t any good, I wouldn’t still be here. I’ve gotten a lot better as an evaluator,” Wolf is quoted as saying by Vic Ketchman of Packers.com. Wolf is the son of respected former Packers general manager Ron Wolf.

Running back Ryan Grant talks about his rehab from last season's season-ending ankle injury with Kareem Copeland in a brief Q&A. “Everything I do now is kind of like unstable surfaces so that my balance is all good," explains Grant. "Trying to get my balance even better than it was before. So, there’s no effect of an injury now. Power is fine. Just trying to get as strong and fast as I possibly can. I’m trying to be better than I was before the injury. That’s where I’m at right now.” He also said his body is "good to go."

A charity event is being held benefitting Special Olympics to allow donors to rappel down Lambeau Field. "The Ultimate Lambeau Leap will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 3," according to Packer Report. "There are just 192 spots, which are available by paying a $250 registration fee and raising the minimum amount of $2,500." Donors raising certain benchmarks of money can earn rewards such as autographs and meeting Packers players.
