A trio of former Packers offensive linemen––Daryn Colledge, Jason Spitz and Tony Moll––are soon coming out with the third vintage of cabernet sauvignon on their wine label, Three Fat Guys, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic. "It’s available in three states now: California, Wisconsin and Idaho (Colledge played at Boise)," writes Somers. "The wine can also be ordered and delivered to doorsteps, and the players would like to expand, at least they think so." They only produce 126 cases of wine per year, so the business is still modest. The article describes how cornerback Charles Woodson and his own wine label was an influence to the former Packers players.

Over the weekend, former Packers defensive players were interviewed about pre-game speeches by Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the impetus for the article being former New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams who targeted Aaron Rodgers and other players in the Saints' bounty scandal. "(LeRoy) Butler and others say they've heard speeches like this since high school," writes Dunne. "But there's a line. A fine line. And Williams crossed it." Butler and Gilbert Brown were two ex-Packers interviewed for the article.

Also over the weekend, a report from Lori Nickel in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel suggested the Packers' interest in draft prospect Chris Polk, a running back from Washington. "A source said he believes the Green Bay Packers have a genuine interest in the running back after interviewing him at the combine in Indianapolis," writes Nickel. "Indeed, a scout from the Packers joined 12 other NFL representatives to watch Polk at pro day in early March in Seattle." It's encouraging to see the weight dropped by Polk and the improvement in his 40 time.

More interest in a draft prospect was relayed in a blog post at JSOnline about San Diego State linebacker Miles Burris. "With the Packers, I’m not sure what my role would be with them but I did talk with them at the Combine," Burris is quoted as saying. "I really do believe I can play any linebacker spot in a 4-3 or a 3-4.”
