Former Green Bay Packers tight end Tom Crabtree will have a workout with the New York Giants next week, according to a report from Conor Orr of the New Jersey Star-Ledger.

Per Orr:

Crabtree is familiar with Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo, a former tight ends coach in Green Bay, and could be a valuable addition to an uncertain group of tight ends on the current roster. Adrien Robinson, the teams 2012 fourth-round pick, currently leads the depth chart following a strong spring session.

Crabtree was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier in the offseason.
