Packers Calendar: Willie Davis Book Signing in Green Bay

Former Green Bay Packer and Lombardi era defensive end Willie Davis is scheduled for a book signing in Green Bay on Friday, according to Kendra Meinert of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Meanwhile, out in Lakeside, Cal., current Packers defensive end Ryan Pickett is hosting his first ever namesake Celebrity Golf Classic, which includes a "White Party" pairings dinner on Friday night.

Among the celebrities said to be taking part include teammates Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews, B.J. Raji as well as Marshall Faulk, James Lofton, Sterling Sharpe, David Justice and Jermaine Dye, according to U-T San Diego.

Pickett is playing host to the event at the Barona Resort and Casino while raising money for his own foundation. Proceeds are said to benefit children in the foster care system through Casa de Amparo located in San Diego and the American Foundation of Counseling Services, Inc. located in Green Bay.

Registration for either Friday night's dinner or Saturday's golf can be done online at Pickett's foundation website.

Fox 11 in Green Bay is reporting that the Packers will also be discussing on Friday the recent stadium policy that had banned large bags and seat cushions. No time or place has been published for the event.

Finally, the official youth football camps of the Green Bay Packers wrap up on Friday in Madison and Mequon, Wis. Next week, camps begin in Franklin and Waukesha, Wis. for children ages 6 to 14. Check out the camp's official website for more details and to register.
