Packers Calendar: Will Players with Concussions Return?

The Packers have their final day of practice this afternoon in preparation for Sunday's game against the Kanas City Chiefs, and the status of several injured players is still up in the air.

Two players who sustained concussions in the last game against the Raiders, defensive lineman Ryan Pickett and running back Brandon Saine, have not practiced this week. Their chances of playing on Sunday would increase greatly if they can return to action today.

Other players who have not practiced yet this week include running back James Starks and linebacker Desmond Bishop, so their status is worth watching as well.

McCarthy will have a press conference following practice to be broadcasted live at 12:30 p.m. on the Packers official website.

The Packers will announce their final injury report for the week immediately preceding McCarthy's presser.

In the morning, the radio version of the Mike McCarthy Show airs on 101.1 FM WIXX at 7:50 a.m. in the Green Bay area and can be streamed on the radio station's website.

I hope the Packers rest as many physically recovering players as possible this week. They should be abl to handle KC with Smith and Francois, and Grant and Kuhn, and on the D_line Wynn and Neal need the reps.
