While the second week of Organized Team Activities (OTAs) wraps up for players Friday in Green Bay, the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic gets underway a little further south.
The 44th annual edition of the charity golf tournament named after the legendary Packers coach takes place at North Hills Country Club in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
Luminaries such as Bob Hope and President Gerald Ford helped to establish the event that continues through present day.
Registration is full for the golfing portion of the event, but space remains open for Friday evening's Vince Lombardi Golf Gala being held at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., according to the event's website.
Celebrity golfers, including many current and former Packers players, will take part in the Golf Gala.
Among the current Packers in attendance will be event co-chairperson Mason Crosby, Jordy Nelson, Jared Abbrederis and Bryan Bulaga.
Some of the former Packers include Pro Football Hall of Famers James Lofton and Jan Stenerud, along with Lynn Dickey and Jerry Kramer. A complete list can be found on the foundation's website.
Also part of Friday evening's activities are live and silent auctions, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a sit-down dinner.
For those participating in the golf tournament, a practice round takes place earlier in the day at the country club.
