Packers Calendar: Updates on Raji, Finley, Jennings to Come Wednesday

The Packers will release their first injury report of the week on Wednesday as they return to practice in preparation for the Texans game.

The Packers return to practice on Wednesday for the first time this week in preparation for their game against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Following practice head coach Mike McCarthy will hold a press conference at 1:25 p.m. that will be streamed live on the team's official website.

NFL policy requires the Packers release an injury report beginning Wednesday and is usually announced immediately before McCarthy's press conference.

Of particular attention will be the status of defensive lineman B.J. Raji (ankle) and tight end Jermichael Finley (shoulder) who were hurt in last Sunday's game at Indianapolis. McCarthy said on Monday that both have a chance to play against the Texans.

An update on wide receiver Greg Jennings will be highly anticipated as well. Jennings did not play in the Colts game but no determination on his future availability has been made.

Running back Cedric Benson has already been ruled out of the Texans game.

Packers guard Josh Sitton hosts his own namesake weekly radio program The Josh Sitton Show on Wednesday evening on 107.5 FM and 1400 AM "The Fan" WDUZ in Green Bay, which can be streamed live on the station's website at 6:00 p.m. Central time.

The show is aired live from The Pine Tree Sports Bar & Grill at Thornberry Creek in Oneida, Wis.

And right here at Cheesehead TV, our weekly Wednesday interviews with ProFootballFocus.com's Nathan Jahnke take place on Railbird Central live at 8:30 a.m.
