Ryan Tannehill, considered by some to be the third-best quarterback in this year's draft class and perhaps as high as a top-ten pick, will hold his pro day in front of scouts in College Station, Tex.
Tannehill was mentored by former Packers head coach Mike Sherman at Texas A&M where he ran a pro-style offense.
Sherman has since been hired as offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins under head coach Joe Philbin, himself a former Packers assistant.
It's possible the Sherman and Dolphins will look to draft Tannehill with the No. 8 pick in the draft, not wanting to risk the opportunity to bypass Tannehill only to see him off the board by the time they select again in the second round.
Because of a broken foot suffered during offseason training, Tannehill did not participate in the Senior Bowl, work out at the NFL Combine or at Texas A&M's previously scheduled pro day.
The NFL Network is sending Mike Mayock to Tannehill's workout to provide analysis of his workout.
