Packers Calendar: Randall Cobb Talks Big Day on Local Media
The Packers wide receiver will be Monday's guest on the Mike McCarthy Show and will co-host Inside the Huddle.
Coming into Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, Randall Cobb only had 14 receptions on the seasons, an average of fewer than five per game and much less than anticipated he'd have.
After having a breakout performance in Week 4, Cobb gets multiple opportunities on Monday to talk about his big day, catching seven passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns in a division win over the Bears.
It starts at Lambeau Field at 3:00 p.m. CT as the guest on a taping of the Mike McCarthy Show.
Fans are welcome to be part of the live studio audience on the fourth floor Associated Bank Club level of the stadium, even though the show won't air until Tuesday at the earliest on a network of stations across the Midwest.
When that's done, Cobb will head to Burkel's One Block Over in Green Bay to act as co-host of Inside The Huddle (according to the station's Drew Smith on Twitter), airing live on Fox 11 in Green Bay at 5:30 p.m. CT and on tape delay on other stations across the Midwest later in the week. Again, fans are also welcome as the show tapes live in front of a studio audience.
Before Cobb hops on Inside The Huddle, The 5th Quarter will air live at 5:00 p.m. on 1360 AM and 97.5 FM WTAQ in Green Bay and streamed online at WTAQ.com. The show will likewise be recorded in front of an audience at Champion's Sports Bar and Grill in Green Bay.
At 6:00 p.m., offensive lineman David Bakhtiari co-hosts the In the Huddle radio show, welcoming rookie linebacker Jayrone Elliott as his guest, per the show's Facebook page.
The show can be heard on a network of stations, including 1150 AM WHYB and 1570 AM/95.3 FM WSCO in Appleton and streamed live on WHBY.com. The show airs live from Tanner's Grill and Bar in Kimberly, Wis.
Then at 6:30 p.m., as co-host of Clubhouse Live, fullback John Kuhn invites defensive lineman Letroy Guion as his guest (according to the show's Facebook page) on a show originating from the Clubhouse Bar and Grill in Appleton, Wis., and streamed live online at ClubhouseLive.com.
At the same time, Packers Live with host Larry McCarren will air live from inside the Legends Club at Lambeau Field at 6:30 p.m. on a network of stations across the region. Linebacker A.J. Hawk will be the player guest. Fans are welcome to attend.
