Packers Calendar: Playoff Pep Rally

A pep rally will take place outside Lambeau Field on Saturday, featuring several Packers players that played in the Ice Bowl.

The Green Bay Packers practice on Saturday, although it will not be open to either the public or the media.

What will be open to the public, however, is a free playoff pep rally, taking place at 6:00 p.m. outside Lambeau Field's Oneida Nation gate where a large stage will be erected.

Several members of the Packers' 1967 championship team that played in the Ice Bowl, the last time the Dallas Cowboys came to Green Bay for a playoff game, will be in attendance.

Those scheduled to share their memories of the game include Pro Football Hall of Famer Dave Robinson along with teammates Jerry Kramer, Boyd Dowler, Donny Anderson and Chuck Mercein.

Following the pep rally, the alumni will sign autographs in the Packers Pro Shop.

Also taking part in the activities will be Packers president Mark Murphy, as well as Wayne Larrivee, the radio voice of the Packers, who will emcee the event.

Large screens will be set near the stage, allowing fans to watch coverage of Saturday's other divisional round playoff games.

The event will also feature several fan giveaways, and beverages will be available for fans to purchase throughout the pep rally.

Prior to the pep rally, former Packers Santana Dotson and Sean Jones will be making an appearance at the Packers Pro Shop from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. as this week's usual featured alumni.

Dotson and Jones will meet with fans and sign autographs.
