For the second week in a row, the City of Green Bay, Brown County and Downtown Green Bay Inc. will be holding a pep rally on Friday in advance of Saturday's Wildcard playoff game between the Packers and the Vikings.
The rally will be held at the Brown County Courthouse lawn in the 300 block of E. Walnut St. in downtown Green Bay at 3:30 p.m. CT.
Packers representatives are likely to be traveling to the game, but the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that there are hopes to have a retired Packers player.
Fans will be treated to sausage from a Minneapolis eatery from Minneapolis mayor R.T. Rybak as part of a lost bet last week.
The Packers will also release their injury report with playing-status labels on Friday, although the team is relatively healthy.
Mike McCarthy already said he expects wide receivers Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson to play on Saturday. One of the few question marks is running back James Starks who's recovering from a knee injury.
Every Friday morning Mike McCarthy does brief interviews with several Wisconsin radio stations. They include:
All interviews can be streamed live on the stations' respective websites, all times Central.
