All NFL teams with returning head coaches are eligible to begin their offseason conditioning program on Monday, including the Green Bay Packers.
It will be the first time the Packers will be coming together as a team since wrapping up the season following their divisional round playoff loss to the New York Giants.
Nothing much newsworthy is going happen regarding the offseason workouts for several weeks. The first two weeks are dedicated strictly to strength and conditioning where a lot of their time will be spent in the weight room with little to no media coverage.
Even though the workouts are voluntary, the Packers––in the Ted Thompson era––have traditionally had good attendance during their offseason program due in part to many contracts being structured to include workout bonuses.
But one player not expected to be in attendance is wide receiver Donald Driver who is still taking part in ABC's Dancing With the Stars.
Monday's episode airs at 7 p.m. Central time.
