Packers Calendar: Oconomowoc Tailgate Party

Current and former Packers DuJuan Harris, Don Barclay, Sean Richardson, Ahman Green and Gilbert Brown will all make an appearance.

Oconomowoc is the site of several Packers-related events on Thursday, all of them organized by Mayfield Sports Marketing.

First, former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Gilbert Brown hosts the second day of his third annual football camp in Oconomowoc, Wis., which coincides with the Amp It Up Tumble & Cheer Camp held at the same time and location.

Brown will help provide instruction for kids entering grades one through six during two sessions, the first from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and then from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At a time to be determined, Brown will be joined by several current and former Packers players, who will be making an appearance at his camp.

Joining Brown will be running back DuJuan Harris, offensive lineman Don Barclay, safety Sean Richardson and newly inducted Packers Hall of Fame enshinee Ahman Green.

Then from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., a Tailgate Party will be held at Oconomowoc Harley Davidson, in which all the aforementioned Packers players will be in attendance.

After wrapping up their duties at the football camp, the current and former Packers players will take part in a photo booth from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. and then sign autographs from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Parking and admission to the event is free and open to the public, however, mentions of fund raising online may indicate costs or donations involved with autographs.

Former Olympic gymnast Chelsea Memmel will also appear at the event.

As part of the Tailgate Party, the event will include food, beverage, live music, inflatables and face painting for children and a Packers-related raffle.

Meanwhile, the official youth football camps of the Green Bay Packers continue in Madison and Elm Grove on Wednesday.

Sessions for chldren ages six to 14 will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m at the Bishop O'Connor Center and Elm Grove Lutheran School respectively.
