Packers Calendar: No Observance of Labor Day in Green Bay

Coach Mike McCarthy will have a press conference air live on Packers.com at 1:45 p.m. CT on Monday.

While the country enjoys a day off from work on Monday, the Green Bay Packers will busy laboring, preparing for their season-opening game at the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.

After linebacker Brad Jones reportedly returned from a quadriceps injury at Sunday's practice, only three players remain out, and only one likely has a chance of potentially returning in time for Monday's practice.

Offensive lineman J.C. Tretter and tight end Brandon Bostick, both with knee injuries, are longshots to return this week, although cornerback Demetri Goodson—recovering from a concussion—could return any moment.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will have an update after practice in a press conference to be streamed live at Packers.com at approximately 1:45 p.m. CT.

Despite the Labor Day holiday, there will be a pair of Green Bay Packers talk shows airing on Monday evening.

Former Packers safety Johnnie Gray will be the guest on Clubhouse Live, taking place at the Clubhouse Sports Bar & Grill in Appleton at 6:30 p.m. CT and streamed live at ClubhouseLive.com.

Before that, Packers cornerback Jarrett Bush will be the guest on The 5th Quarter, airing at 5:00 p.m. on 1440 AM WNFL in Green Bay and streamed live right here:
