Packers Calendar: Nick Perry on the Injury Report

The gameday projection for Perry will be released on Friday.

The Green Bay Packers will release their final injury report of the week on Friday and the status of linebacker Nick Perry will be of particular importance.

Perry has been a key figure in the Packers' defensive resurgence the past two weeks, getting his first two starts of the season at outside linebacker, allowing Clay Matthews to line up at inside linebacker.

Injury, however, has complicated matters with Perry not taking part in practice yet this week.

The Packers don't hold full-scale practices on Friday, but Perry's participation will be estimated on the injury report, listed as either a non-participant, limited or full. He'll also be categorized on the game-day projections as either out, doubtful, questionable or probable.

Other Packers players who haven't practiced this week will also be of attention: tight end Brandon Bostick (hip) and defensive back Jarrett Bush (groin).

Following the release of the injury report, head coach Mike McCarthy will hold a press conference to be streamed live on Packers.com at 11:45 a.m. CT.

During the morning hours, McCarthy will take part in his usual Friday morning radio circuit, making appearances on a handful of stations in Wisconsin:

  • 6:25 a.m.: 620 AM WTMJ in Milwaukee and online at 620WTMJ.com.
  • 6:45 a.m.: 1310 AM WIBA in Madison and online at WIBA.com.
  • 7:50 a.m.: 101.1 FM WIXX in Green Bay and online at WIXX.com.

Wide receiver Jordy Nelson will likewise make an appearance on radio, doing his regular Friday interview with 620 AM WTMJ in Milwaukee at 3:20 p.m., which can be heard online at 620WTMJ.com.

The Packers will also hold a community blood drive, sponsored by the American Red Cross, at Lambeau Field on Friday, taking place inside the Legends Club from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
