Packers Calendar: NFC North Implications with Lions on Monday Night Football

The Detroit Lions host the Baltimore Ravens starting at 7:40 p.m. CT on Monday in a game televised on ESPN.

The Green Bay Packers (7-6-1) took care of business in remarkable fashion on Sunday, coming back from a 23-point deficit that tied for the largest in franchise history. Now they could use some help.

On Monday Night Football, the Detroit Lions host the Baltimore Ravens. And at 7-6, the Lions are a half game ahead of the Packers in the division standings.

Green Bay does not control its own destiny. They need the Lions to lose at least once before the end of the season in order to capture the NFC North crown. Although they don't necessarily need the Lions to lose on Monday evening, they would sure benefit from a Detroit defeat.

With a win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, the Chicago Bears are also ahead of the Packers in the division standings, but the Packers control their own fate thanks to a date with the Bears in the season finale.

Kickoff is at 7:40 p.m. CT on ESPN.

A quartet of Packers players will be at Bay Park Square mall in Green Bay on Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. to ring bells for the Salvation Army, signing autographs in exchange for donations.

Tight ends Brandon Bostick and Andrew Quarless, running back Eddie Lacy and safety M.D.Jennings players will be located in the Younkers wing of the mall in front of Old Navy. These four are just the latest pair of players to ring bells, an event that occurred on Mondays for an entire month during the holiday season.

In the media on Monday evening, Packers Live with host Larry McCarren will be shown on a statewide network of seven stations, including NBC26 in Green Bay and TMJ4 in Milwaukee. Complete listings can be found on the Packers official website. The show is shot in front of a live studio audience inside the Legends Club at 6:30 p.m. CT and open to the public.

Also at Lambeau Field, the Packers head coach will record his weekly Mike McCarthy Show at 4:00 p.m. inside Lambeau Field on the 4th Floor Associated Bank Club level in front of a studio audience, but the show won't air on television until Tuesday.

Kicker Mason Crosby will be the coach's guest, according to host Lance Allan on Twitter.

Before the taping of his television show, McCarthy will discuss Sunday's game in a press conference with the local media at 3:00 p.m., which will be streamed live on the team's official website.

Crosby will be busy on Monday, because after the taping of the Mike McCarthy Show, he'll be headed to Appleton where fullback John Kuhn will host Clubhouse Live. The show will be held at the Clubhouse Sports Bar & Grill in Appleton in front of a live studio audience and streamed online at ClubhouseLive.com starting at 6:30 p.m.

At 5:30 p.m. on Monday evening, Inside the Huddle airs on Fox 11 in Green Bay, hosted by wide receiver Randall Cobb.

Inside the Huddle appears on a statewide network of television stations on other days of the week with the entire schedule listed at LammiSports.com. It is recorded in front of a live audience at The Bar in Green Bay.

In other Packers television programming, the Locker Room Show will air at 6:30 p.m. on CBS affiliate WFRV channel 5 in Green Bay. Linebacker Nick Perry will be the guest, according to the station's website.

The show airs in front of a live studio audience at Purcell's inside The Radisson in Green Bay.

A yet-to-be-named player guest will appear on The Fifth Quarter from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at D2 Sports Pub in Green Bay, which can be heard on WTAQ 1360 AM and streamed live on WTAQ.com.

Then at 6:00 p.m., cornerback Davon House and offensive lineman David Bakhtiari take turns hosting In The Huddle held live at Tanner's Grill and Bar in Kimberly and heard on 95.3 FM WSCO in Appleton, streamed on 953WSCO.com.

Ravens, Giants, @Vikes - I'd be shocked if the Lions go 3-0 down the stretch.

It's as simple as this. Packers win next two, Lions loose one of three. And Packers are in.

Stafford doing his best Tony Romo impersonation. Ravens have to settle for another FG. :(
