Green Bay Packers safety M.D. Jennings will be the guest on the Mike McCarthy Show that airs on several television markets in Wisconsin and the Midwest on Tuesday evening, according to host Lance Allan on Twitter.
Discussion with Jennings is sure to include uncertainty in a secondary that’s been without fellow safety Morgan Burnett through the first three games of the season.
Following the bye, it appears as if Burnett will be back from a hamstring injury and perhaps starting across from Jennings as the safety tandem on the Green Bay defense.
While Burnett has been gone, the Packers have been relying on a rotation at the position that also included Jerron McMillian and Chris Banjo. The results haven’t exactly been promising with the low point coming in the season opener, a loss to the 49ers in which both Jennings and McMillian were exposed in coverage.
On the season, Jennings has 18 tackles and one sack.
The Mike McCarthy Show airs at 6:30 p.m. CT on WGBA Ch. 26 in Green Bay and WTMJ Ch. 4 in Milwaukee. Complete listings can be found on the team’s official website.
Over on the radio dial, quarterback Aaron Rodgers hosts his weekly show, “Tuesdays with Aaron,” aired on the ESPN Radio affiliate in Milwaukee, 540 AM at 1:30 p.m. and streamed live online at ESPNWisconsin.com. It will be replayed on 100.5 FM in Madison at 5:00 p.m.
Offensive lineman T.J. Lang hosts Tundra Talk on 105.7 FM WAPL in Appleton at 5:00 p.m. and streamed online at WAPL.com.
And from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., McMillian will be making a personal appearance at Waukesha Sportscards to sign autographs on Tuesday evening.
