Packers Calendar: KGB, Jacke Inducted into Hall of Fame

Kabeer Gbaja-Biamilia, Chris Jacke and Emil Fishcer become enshrined into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame on Saturday evening.

On Saturday Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Chris Jacke and Emil Fischer become enshrined during the 43rd annual Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame induction banquet.

Gbaja-Biamila, otherwise known as "KGB," is a defensive lineman who is the organization's all-time leader in sacks with 74 1/2. He had 10-plus sacks in four consecutive seasons from 2001-04, which is a club record, and received his first and only Pro Bowl honor in 2003.

Jacke is a kicker who is third on the Packers' all-time scoring list with 820 points. His 17 field goals from 50-plus yards are a franchise record and he was named to the All-Pro team in 1993.

Fischer served several roles in the Packers organization, including serving on the board of directors, president and chairman of the board. He was also named president of the National Conference in 1949 upon the NFL-AAFC agreement assured the Packers’ place in the newly aligned league.

Tickets for the banquet, which begins with the doors opening at 4:30 p.m. with a cash bar, and dinner and program to follow at 7 p.m., are $135 each. Tables of 10 also are available for $1,300 and are assigned in the order in which they are purchased. Early reservations are recommended. Also on Saturday, the American Century Championship golf tournament continues its second round in Stateline, Nev. where quarterback Aaron Rodgers, linebacker A.J. Hawk and former Packers Sterling Sharpe and Jim McMahon are competing.

The event will be televised live on NBC from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. CT.

McMahon has the top score among those with Packers ties with a 15, good for 16th place. Rodgers and Sharpe are tied for 30th with an 11, and Hawk is tied for 57th with a 2.
