Packers Calendar: It's "Donald Driver Day" in Brown County

Thursday January 17 has been declared "Donald Driver Day" in Brown County.

Packers wide receiver Donald Driver is so popular he not only gets one day on the calendar, he gets two.

Back in May, following his victory in the reality television show "Dancing With The Stars," Wisconsin governor Scott Walker declared Wednesday May 23 "Donald Driver Day" in the state.

Now, nearly seven months later, it's "Donald Driver Day" once again, but this time only in Brown County.

The Brown County Board reportedly issued a proclamation on Wednesday evening marking the occassion.

In a statement published by Fox 11, Driver said, "It's truly an honor to have January 17, 2013 become Donald Driver Day. I will always appreciate the special relationship that I share with the Green Bay Packers fans and I have so many incredible memories of my time spent in Green Bay and Brown County. I look forward to remaining a fixture in the community here and for many years to come."
