Packers Calendar: Hawk to Visit Local Grade School

Linebacker A.J. Hawk will be visiting Danz Elementary School in Green Bay on Tuesday as part of being named an NFL PLAY 60 Super School.

The Packers have their weekly day off from practice, but this evening the Mike McCarthy Show will air on most of the state's affiliates on the Packers Television Network at 6:30 p.m. Central time, including locally on NBC's WGBA Ch. 26. Running back James Starks will be the guest following a good outing against the Vikings on Sunday, according to host Lance Allan on Twitter.

Before the Mike McCarthy ShowPackers Extra will also air on WGBA at 5:00 p.m.

During the day off, linebacker A.J. Hawk will visit a local grade school in Green Bay as part of being named an "NFL PLAY 60 Super School," according to television station Fox 11. Danz Elementary will also receive a $10,000 grant from the NFL to be used on health and wellness equipment.

A trio of other players will make appearances around the state of Wisconsin, meeting fans and presumably signing autographs. Running back Alex Green will be at the Copps Food Store in Stevens Point at 4:00 p.m., safety Morgan Burnett will be at Woodman's Grocery Store in Appleton at 5:00 p.m. and tight end D.J. Williams will be at the Verizon Wireless store in Ashwaubenon at 7:00 p.m., all according to the Packers official website.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will make his weekly appearance on the ESPN Radio affiliate in Milwaukee, 540 AM WAUK, at 1:30 p.m. The show can be streamed at the station's website.

Offensive lineman T.J. Lang will host Tundra Talk Live at 4:00 p.m. on 105.7 WAPL in Appleton, which is held live at Screamin' Head Buzz in Green Bay and can be streamed on the station's website.
