Packers Calendar: Former Packers Super Bowl Parties

Former Packers Jim McMahon, Derrick Mayes and Chukie Nwokorie are all hosting Super Bowl parties in Indianapolis this evening.

If you happen to be in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl, you can party with a former Packer tonight. At a cost, of course.

Before the partying gets started, ex-Packers running back Ahman Green will take part in Tazon Latino VI, a nationally televised flag football game featuring current and former NFL players and Latino celebrities.

The event takes place on the clinic field at the NFL Experience inside the Indianapolis Convention Center at 2 p.m. Central time. It will air on Univision at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Then this evening, quarterback Jim McMahon is hosting the Swang N' Super Bowl Bash to benefit the Lynda McMahon Ferguson Foundation held at the Rathskellar in downtown Indianapolis that will feature performances by several country music artists.

Other players with Packers ties that will be attending the event include Sterling Sharpe, Don Majkowski, James Jones and Steve McMichael.

Wide receiver Derrick Mayes, a member of the team that won Super Bowl XXXI and a 2012 inductee into the Indiana Sports Hall of Fame, is hosting the Championship Weekend Celebrity Kickoff with performances by Jesse Marco and DJ Topspeed.

The event will be held at The Hyde Executive Hospitality Lounge at 121 South Meridian in Indianapolis.

Finally, defensive lineman Chukie Nwokorie will be part of a group that's hosting The Super Blue Party at Landsharks in Indianapolis at 10 p.m. tonight. He's hosting it with several of his former Colts teammates, however, so expect plenty of their fans.
