The Green Bay Packers will be taking part in a minicamp practice today, but after practice is over, many of them will be helping out wide receivers coach Edgar Bennett.

The Edgar Bennett Celebrity Bowl-A-Thon will be held on Wednesday evening for the eighth consecutive year at Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley. Start time is 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Angel Fund for Children with Cancer Inc., an organization dedicated to giving financial and social support to families residing in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan whose children are receiving treatment for cancer or for bone marrow failure.

Before Bennett's event gets underway, head coach Mike McCarthy will have a press conference aired Wednesday afternoon at 1:20 p.m. on the Packers official website.

Packers broadcaster Wayne Larrivee will also appear at a Sheboygan A's amateur baseball game on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. on behalf of his "And There Is Your Dagger" line of clothing.
