Packers Calendar: Davon House's Playing Status

The Packers cornerback will be listed on the week's final injury report, released on Friday.

We hope everyone's Christmas was terrific and our international friends enjoy Boxing Day today.

Following a day off for Christmas, the Green Bay Packers return to work on Friday and will be back on their regular schedule.

They'll release their final injury report of the week, and the status of cornerback Davon House appears to be the only one in question.

House reportedly went through some rehab on his injured shoulder earlier in the week but had been listed as "did not participate" on the previous two injury reports on Wednesday and Thursday.

Even though the Packers hold more of a jog-through on Fridays, House's practice participation will be estimated as either did not participate, limited or full.

They'll then give his gameday status for the upcoming match-up against the Detroit Lions on Sunday as either out, doubtful, questionable or probable.

House was a factor defending Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson in their first meeting this season, keeping him out of the end zone.

It would appear House is a longshot to play this week, but the Packers may be holding out hope for a speedy recovery.

Even though Aaron Rodgers and several teammates are also listed on the injury report as limited this week, it's nearly certain they'll all be listed as probable.

Head coach Mike McCarthy will hold his usual Friday press conference at 12:30 p.m. CT, streamed live on Packers.com.

During the afternoon, wide receiver Jordy Nelson will make his weekly appearance on 620 AM WTMJ at 3:20 p.m. and streamed online at 620WTMJ.com.

UPDATE 1:00 p.m. CT: House has been ruled out of Sunday's game.
