Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his playing partner, professional golfer D.J. Trahan, need a big day at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Saturday in northern California if they are going to qualify for Sunday's final round.
Rodgers and Trahan are tied for 50th in the 115-team field after shooting a three under par on Friday at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course, putting them at 10 under par for the tournament. Only the top 25 low teams make the cut to move onto the final round.
Rodgers plays the tournament's signature course on Saturday, Pebble Beach, and tees off at 8:22 a.m. local time (Pacific). Television coverage is from 2 to 5 p.m. today on CBS.
